A summer house with an artist's studio for woodcarving. The studio, faces north to avoid direct sunlight. An existing fresh-water well defines the form of the building plan and is the focal point of the outdoor space.

The height of the building is restricted by local building regulations. A solution with "emplty" roof is proposed, where the roof planes form the ceiling, creating opened and spacious rooms for the living room and studio.
