We preserved the existing stone foundations of an old building  and the existing wooden structure of the second floor above them. We proposed a high-space in the living room  with a open gallery on top, and two large covered outdoor terraces. Then we enlarged the house with a glass winter&summer garden (on client’s request) which can be fully opened to the courtyard.
