The remains of an old building existed on the site – well-preserved stone masonry with wood bracing, known as “santrachi”.  We decided to preserve them and integrate them into the new house the center of the composition.

Situated at the highest point of the village the house faces a breath-taking view. Thus a large covered terrace, known as “chardak”, characteristic for the traditional Bulgarian house, was created on the upper storey.

Thee variations have been prepared – Traditional, Modern, and Ultra-Modern. The client chose the traditional one.
